🎄 Christmas Is About Jesus 🎄
A gentle reminder for little hearts and the grown-ups who guide them
Christmas is a time full of sparkle, music, lights, and joy. We decorate our homes, bake sweet treats, and wrap colorful presents with love. All of those things are wonderful—but there is something even more wonderful that Christmas reminds us of.
Christmas is about Jesus.
Long ago, God sent His Son, Jesus, to be born as a tiny baby in a manger. He didn’t come with fancy clothes or big celebrations. He came quietly, wrapped in love, to save us from our sins and to show us how much God loves every single one of us—children and parents alike.
💛 For Our Little Ones
When children hear the Christmas story, they learn something very special: Jesus came because God loves us. He came to teach us kindness, forgiveness, and how to love others the way God loves us.
That means Christmas isn’t just about what we get—it’s about how we give.
- Giving hugs
- Saying kind words
- Sharing toys
- Helping someone who feels lonely
These are all ways children can celebrate Jesus.
🎁 Presents Are Nice… But Love Is the Best Gift
It’s okay to enjoy gifts. Giving and receiving presents can be fun and exciting. But before the wrapping paper flies and the boxes are opened, take a moment to remember the greatest gift of all: Jesus was given to us.
That gift didn’t come in a box—it came from God’s heart.
👨👩👧👦 A Message for Parents
Christmas is a beautiful opportunity to slow down and refocus. Reading the Christmas story together, praying as a family, or simply talking about why Jesus came can plant seeds of faith that last a lifetime.
Consider doing something special together:
- Bake cookies for a neighbor
- Donate toys or food
- Visit someone who may be alone
- Say a prayer of thanks as a family
These small moments teach children that faith is lived out through love.
🌟 A Christmas to Remember
As we celebrate this season, let us remember:
- Jesus was born to save us
- God’s love is the true reason for Christmas
- Time with family and helping others matters most
May your home be filled with peace, joy, and the gentle reminder that Jesus is the heart of Christmas.
