Once upon a time, in a small town nestled amidst rolling hills, there lived a little girl named Lily. Lily was a curious and imaginative toddler, with bright blue eyes that sparkled like the summer sky. She loved listening to stories, especially those that her grandmother would tell her before bedtime.

One evening, as the sun began to set and cast a warm golden glow over the town, Lily's grandmother sat beside her on the porch swing. With a twinkle in her eye, she began to tell Lily a special story about a verse called John 3:16.

"Once, there was a man named John," her grandmother began, "who lived in a faraway land. He was a kind and gentle soul, always helping others and spreading love wherever he went."

Lily's eyes widened with curiosity as she listened intently. She imagined John as a brave knight, riding on a noble steed, ready to conquer any challenge that came his way.

"One day," her grandmother continued, "John discovered a secret message that held the key to everlasting happiness. It said, 'For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.'"

Lily's imagination soared as she pictured a magical treasure map, leading John on a grand adventure to find this incredible gift. She imagined him crossing treacherous mountains, sailing across vast oceans, and braving dark forests, all in search of this precious secret.

As the story unfolded, Lily's grandmother explained that the message meant that God loved everyone so much that he sent his Son, Jesus, to save them. It meant that anyone who believed in Jesus would have eternal life, filled with love, joy, and peace.

Lily's eyes filled with wonder as she imagined a world where everyone was filled with love and kindness. She dreamed of a place where laughter echoed through the streets, and where people cared for one another like family.

As the story came to an end, Lily's grandmother gently kissed her forehead and whispered, "Remember, my dear Lily, that love is the greatest gift we can give and receive. Just like John, let your heart be filled with love, and you will bring light to the world."

With a smile on her face and a heart full of love, Lily drifted off to sleep, dreaming of a world where John's message of love and eternal life touched the hearts of all. And from that day forward, she vowed to carry the message of John 3:16 in her heart, spreading love and joy wherever she went.
